Yaaay!  I saw it and it was wondrous!!!!  See Breaking Dawn, part 1!!!!!

It's this weekend!!!!!  TWILIGHT SAGA:  Breaking Dawn, Part 1  !!!!!!  To the tune of Hurray for Hollywood, I'm going to see my favorite couple hook up.

Nothing special going on today, except, I've cleaned and rinsed some beans and am cooking them "on high" in the crockpot.  Then I'm going to make some chili beans and meat...yum!  It's chilly but sunny outside and they'll taste good tonight.

Saturday, I'm going to a genealogy conference :)

Fill me up with Good News

In addition to having become a TwiHard and starting to read tasteful paranormal romance books in 2010,  I've become hooked on the Kardashians!!!!  I'm more open to being a more tolerant person.  Who would ever have thought that I want to be more of a vessel for the Lord to use in His unique way--not how someone else thinks I should be but more what the Father wants of me.  All my life I've been what is known as "A People Pleaser."

That means that I am not going to be seeking anyone's approval but God's when I want to do something new.

Fill my mind with good things

I frequently get ideas of interesting things to write about in my blog but, by the time I get in here to write something, my mind is a blank. I've been reading a series (The Fever Series) by Karen Marie Moning.  Tomorrow I start book 5, which is the last of the series. Interesting!!!!!  The first book begins in Georgia (USA) and action quickly moves to Dublin, Ireland.  It's more a fantasy than anything else but the writing is so good, the reader gets swept in pronto!  Can't wait until tomorrow.

I 'm into series lately--not on purpose, it's just worked out that way.  I've started reading The Lee Nez books by the Thurlos.  Faith Hunter is a good writer as well.

Trying to Climb Up the Saddle

You've heard that cowboy song, "I'm back in the saddle again."?  Well, I kinda feel as if that's my theme song for today.  I'm trying to get back into blogging again and letting my friends and followers know what my latest "thots" are.  :)   I can't wait to get the hang of this again so I can do a family tree
and more genealogy info for all of you.  I have a new 3 or 4 month old great grandson nicknamed "Natey" by me.  He's so cute!!!!  Looks just like his mommy at that age.
